Sweet Summer Is Here ❤️

A Note From Sue

A note from Sue

Happy Summer friends!!  May you all be enjoying the glorious weather and having lots of sun and fun.
July is such a great month with so much going on around town!
We just had family in town for the first time since Covid-it was so nice to visit and have a big barbeque for everyone- great to get back to normal.  I also had the opportunity to take a flight to see my Dad and his wife (he is 84 now and our time together is so precious!).
I’m looking forward to spending lots of time with friends and family this summer 😊

Stuff To Do In the Community:

Forgotten Harvest is looking for volunteers for a variety of assignments this month. If you are interested in volunteering, please click HERE for more information.
~ Enjoy the Fall colors at The Henry Ford House in Grosse Pointe. You can visit the grounds for only $5.00 each for the whole day. What a great thing to do with your family. Make a picnic, bring a blanket and hang out by the beautiful Lake St. Clair. You can watch the water and boaters go by and see the beautiful gardens.

~ Take a stroll down memory lane at the world-famous Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
~ Check out Belle Isle and all it has to offer!!  A stroll on the waterfront or a leisurely drive around the island does a soul good. Nothing like fresh air and beautiful fall colors to make us feel alive! Visit a Cider Mill and eat lots of yummy donuts and cider.

How does your office look?

How does your office look?

This month I have been helping clients with office organization a lot-it is almost ½ way thru the year and people are getting antsy to get their files organized as the piles grow!  My senior clients love it as it makes things easy for them to find and for their children if something happens to them.

My suggestion is always to clear out files every January and start new ones, so everything is organized by year and easy to file and find later.  A fresh start always feels so good, and I believe it helps declutter our minds worrying about doing it later and having things pile up.

Miss M is a sweetheart. I love working with her as she has such a cheerful personality and loves to learn! We have been working on teaching her how to better use her computer. She is loving using Zoom to talk to her Grandkids and she is so proud of herself she has learned how to use Zoom (we did a cheat sheet she follows to make it super easy!). We also have been working on email clean up and making files in her email to clean things up and get organized. I love helping folks live a better life-it is my passion 😊
